Ramira is sired by Mephistopheles, a product of the grand prix line of the grand prix stallions Zonik, Blue Hors Zack and Don Schufro. Zonik started his career by becoming the 2012 Danish Young Horse Champion at the Nationals in Odense, Denmark and,  under Edward Gal, was a triple Dutch Grand Prix Champion (2017, 2018, 2019) . Don Schufro was the Danish national champion and was an Olympic Bronze medallist. He sired countless top sport horses including Weihegold – Team Olympic Gold, Individual Olympic Silver and triple World Cup Winner.

Ramira’s dam line is led by The Champion producer Jazz, who was awarded Preferent status and was Horse of the year. He topped the WBSFH rankings for many years  and is currently still ranked 3rd, four years after he passed away! He was every bit as influential to Dutch breeding as Donnerhall was to German breeding.
