The talented "Poker star" has started competing at the lower levels and is sired by Kilian. Kilian unfortunately passed away in 2021 at the far too early age of 6. His progeny are therefore a rarity. Kilian was a product of Sir Donnerhaal, who is among the top ten of the most successful dressage stallions in the world according to the WBFSH ranking. The fact that Sir Donnerhall I transmits maximum willingness to work is also proven by his placement among the best 50 versatility sires in the world with more than 70 successful Grand Prix offspring including the Olympic competitor Samhitas. Kilian's dam sire was the incredible De Niro who was one of the best dressage sires in history. In 2012 the German dressage team, with Desperados and D'Agostino, won the Gold Medal at the European Championships in Herning

Dam Sire Zizi Top, was the winner of the stallion competition and placed fifth at the World Championships. Zizi Top was sired by Tango, The Dutch National Champion Grand Prix stallion who finished 6th at the World Cup finals in 2012.
