Resperado is a product of some of the best bloodlines you could possibly imagine. He is sired by the pavo Cup Winner, Desperado, who won the stallion competition 3 years in a row and became so succesful as a Grand Prix horse, smashing the 85% barrier in Mechelen, that he became an NOP Olympic candidate prior to the covid pandemic. He proved himself time and again as a producer or champions with multiple Grand Prix offspring and licensed sons.

Dam’s sire, the legendary Totilas, was a horse resposible for changing the course of the  dressage sport – He set three world records, which he then went on to break again and again. Within the space of only two years, the incredible Totilas won every conceivable title including two time Individual Gold and a Team Gold at the World Championships, Individual and Team Gold at the European Championships and was also the Winner of the coveted World Cup. He has sired over 50 licensed stallions, including the likes of Total US, Governor, Total Hope and Total jr (all of which are also competing at Grand Prix).
