Sire, Fonq, is licensed by both the Hannovarian and Westphailian studbooks. As a three year old Fonq was the Westphalian champion and third at the Beundeschampionat. In Turn Fonq’s sire,Fürst Fohlenhof,  was the celebrated champion of the National Young Horse Championships in Warendorf and finished his 30-day-performance test with top marks, including a 10 in the test rider assessment. In 2014, Fürst Fohlenhof again qualified to the German Young Horse Championships and became Vice-Bundeschampion.

Sheffield’s dam sire is none other than Vivaldi who is amongst the top ten of the world’s best dressage sires on the WBFSH ranking. With clockwork precision, he produces outstanding stars such as V-Plus Gold, the two European Championship team silver medallists Desperado N.O.P. and Dream Boy , the Grand Prix winners Expression, Chinook and Etoine as well as the up-and-coming stars Mount St. John VIP, Harmony’s V-Plus and Lolita.
